"Your Well-being is Our Business"

Alliance Insurance Services officially launched the “Well-Being” Campaign for 2010, by hosting the first of a series of events on 26 January 2010 at the World Trade Centre Club, Causeway Bay. Many of the HR Professionals from top Corporations who attended began the day by becoming inspired at the “Wellness Morning”. |
First part “Play-Shop” was facilitated by the first of the Speakers, Anita Cheung, Founder of Integrative Living (I-Detox), who introduced the benefits of Super foods (including tasting) as well as learning about healthy eating and living. This also involved much interaction, and those who contributed the most to the discussions were rewarded with small prizes taken from a range of organic products, available from Anita’s office in Central! |

After a short coffee break, they were ready to hear from the second Speaker, Shaun Bernier (Managing Director) of Community Business, a non-profit organization, who support businesses to improve their positive impact on people and communities. One of their focus areas is Work Life Balance (WLB) and Shaun spoke about the ways in which Corporations can start and/or continue to develop effective WLB Plans within their own organizations, which will have a positive impact on the “wellness” of their employees. |

The next event is planned for April 2010 and will be on Employee Wellness “Well-Being in Action!”, which will include a Work-Shop, learning from other Corporate HR Practitioners who will be invited to share success stories, as well as sharing best practices and overcoming challenges.
